KOIOS (2) was a dominant maiden winner two back at Scone and then came desperately close to making it two on the trot last start at Canterbury. Peaking now and rates a major player. WRITTEN GOLD (5) made an impressive start when leading pillar-to-post at Wyong on debut. Tougher this time but has plenty of upside and should be able to quickly offset the wide alley. BRIGIDINE GAL (7) worked home nicely into fourth behind a smart one when resuming here two weeks ago. Is sure to have come on with that run under her belt and is drawn kinder. Can give this a big shake. ISTOLEA MERC (1) faces his toughest assignment to date but is in top form and is worth including. Watch for him running on. STILL ALICE (4) best of the rest.
