WATERSPORTS (14) looks the one to beat. She ran well in quite a good Swan Hill maiden two back before just finding one better at Seymour over 1600m, beaten 1.3 lengths. Should be at peak fitness with the slight rise in trip to suit and will be very hard to run down. AMERICAN GAS (1) was no match for a dominant winner over this route fresh but held down second and should come on plenty from that. He's still got plenty of upside. ITWASONLYAKISS (4) has been solid in two career runs to date over shorter and should relish getting over a bit more ground now. This is easier than last time at Sale where he wasn't disgraced. SWING BYE (7) finished last on resumption at Cranbourne and needs to turn things around but could do so. SIX DEGREES (6) was good at huge odds here fresh and must be considered this time.
