WANDJAD (6) has needed both of his starts back from a spell and stuck on gamely after racing keenly at Scone last time out, finishing fifth, just over a length from the winner. He has a draw upgrade this time and has won his only start on this track. He is peaking at the right time and with an extra furlong to travel, he can take this out. TOY STORY (1) caught the eye with a late finish for second here 16 days ago which made up for an unlucky effort at Port Macquarie before that. He benefits from a 3kg claim this time and with his best draw yet this prep, he can go one better. HIGHLY TEMPTED (3) was a well-beaten third in a 3-horse race at Warwick Farm nearly 3 weeks ago and will find this company more to his liking. He is a consistent 3-year-old gelding who should be thereabouts again. THE FAVORITE SON (9) had the blinkers on for the first time when finishing sixth at Newcastle-Beaumont last time out and has been looking for more ground. Each way claims over this longer trip.
