Of the raced brigade SHAGGY (1) couldn't have been more impressive absolutely dominating them on debut at Coffs Harbour and will have derived a stack of confidence from that victory. The extra furlong here should suit and can make it back-to-back wins to start the career. VAREJAO (5) is at the races for the first time but has shown plenty of ability at the trials and Wilson-Taylor stays on board for race day. Keep very safe. BOOMSHANKA (8) draws the inside alley and gets the deadly Gollan/Jones combination. Respect any market push. UNFAITHFUL (9) looked handy winning a recent trial here and can feature first time at the races. VEGA NOVA (2) was well in the betting on debut and where there's smoke there's fire. In the mix for some minor money.
