REMLAPS COMMANDER (2) promising sprinter who returns from a lengthy lay off as a gelding. Rounded up a decent field in good style at Gosford in Highway grade in May of 2023. Fitted with the two 900m trials and he gets all the favours with the claim from the low draw. Expected to go close. ZOUPRINCE (1) mixing his form in stronger grade and will need everything to go right from the outside gate. Sat on the good tempo and nailed late when second over 1200m at Newcastle. Fitzgerald rides him well and this look an easier assignment. Main danger. OUTBACK RINGER (3) has a sound record over this course and distance and looks to have come back in good order. Flashed late first up when fourth over 1000m at Grafton. Can hold a position and give a ton of cheek. LADY SHENANIGANS (8) this is the easiest race she has contested in some time after mixing it up in town and at the provincials. Returned good figures last start and sure to be thereabouts.
