IDEELIC (9) raced just off the speed but lacked the turn of foot to feature over 1425m at Moruya last time out. Placed two from two at the mile. Still a maiden but in this plain affair he gets his chance. GOODNIGHT BARLOW (2) made a mid-race move to find the lead then boxed on well for third recently over 1800m at Bathurst. Coming back in trip should not be a concern. Recent form stacks up favourably in this company. CHAMP DE FLEURS (5) convincingly won an Albury maiden last start over 1400m. Should race handy and give backers a sight. ZAXTON (4) mixes his form. Unlikely to win but worth including in trifectas and first fours.
