ILLATIVE (5) resumes. She's always promised a fair bit without fully delivering, but has run well in some stronger races in the past. She looks to get every chance from a soft gate and should take beating. EXTREMELY ROWDY (9) was solid fresh at Pakenham before struggling behind a very smart one in King Zephyr second up. Needs things to go her way but can reel off a big late split if things do. ICARUS (7) ran a nice race fresh off a long break, getting within half a length of a speedy type. He's got upside and showed good ability last time in. VARANE (4) is fresh for a second up run, dropping back in trip. That's the query but he'll be strong late. LA CASONA (8) was sound fresh and is in the mix.
