LODBROK (3) is a last start winner on the Sandown Hillside track over this distance, getting up by a head over the handy Affluential. Strikes a very similar race here and a repeat performance will see him go awfully close. FERAGO (2) has been about the mark of late, good in a stronger race won by Bur Dubai at Moonee Valley last start. Up to 3000m here should be no issue. LANDGRAVE (10) is going okay, a winner three back and not far away in a couple of runs since. He'll run an honest race. MONTEPULCIANO (5) is unproven this trip but has form over shorter that warrants consideration. GYPSY COVE (9) can improve.
