ATHANATOS (1) resumes. He finally got the maiden out of the way before a spell, at BM68 level at Morphettville, beating the subsequent Victoria Derby winner Goldrush Guru no less. His form over sprint trips prior was very consistent against some smart ones and he can take this out fresh. HOT DIGITY BOOM (4) resumes having run twice in his maiden campaign, scoring nicely as an even money favourite at Geelong before a spell. He's prepped up for this with a trial win and looks a big danger. KING ZEPHYR (5) is a sparingly raced type who has shown plenty of ability in two runs to date. He's won a trial nicely in readiness and must be respected. CAPTAIN LINK (6) was close up fresh and can turn the tables on MR MAGNUS (2) who had the fitness advantage.
