A good-looking renewal of the Feilden Stakes. SALLAAL is bred in the purple and belied market weakness with a performance that marked him out as one to follow as a 3-y-o when getting up close home in a Yarmouth novice on his debut back in the autumn, so he earns the vote to maintain his unbeaten record now stepping up in class. Nightwalker is a fine type physically and can progress further for his new yard this year, with Masai Moon another highly promising type who needs taking seriously.

Frankel colt. Half-brother to several winners, including high-class 7f-1¼m winner Benbatl, smart 1¼m-1½m winner Modaara, and 1000 Guineas winner Elmalka. Looked a good prospect when making a winning debut in 7f soft-ground novice at Yarmouth in October, staying on to lead close home. One to follow.

Siyouni colt who was value for extra when making a successful debut in 9-runner novice at Kempton (1m) on debut in October, quickening to lead entering final 1f for hand riding. Sure to progress and win more races.

Scopey sort who made the most of a good opportunity when outclassing his rivals in 6-runner maiden at Yarmouth (9.1f) in September. Much improved when second in Zetland Stakes and a weak Group 1 at Saint-Cloud final 2 starts. Sets the standard on seasonal debut.

Study of Man colt. Half-brother to numerous winners, including winner up to 1¼m Alla Speranza. Promising fourth on debut at Sandown and confirmed that promise when winning 7-runner maiden at York (7.9f, heavy). Will go on improving and yard very much amongst the winners.

Frankel colt who confirmed debut promise despite still looking green with victory in 7f Yarmouth maiden in September. Showed much improved form when third in 6-runner Autumn Stakes here (8f, soft) on final outing and can progress further for new yard in 2025 (formerly trained by Sir Michael Stoute).

Didn't need to improve on a promising debut to land 5-runner novice at Chester (7f, good to firm) in August, having no issues with the drop in trip. Just similar form when second of 4 at Newbury on final outing, so improvement needed.

Galileo colt who confirmed debut promise when winning 7-runner novice at Ayr (8f, good) in October, dictating. Likely to progress further but this is a big step up.

Sottsass gelding who built on debut promise when impressively bagging 4-runner novice at Ascot (7f, good to soft) in September. Well held in Royal Lodge here later in the month, however, and looks set for another struggle.
