Looking for this trip now and gets her chance with Wadick's 1.5kg claim. Leading prospect. TOMMY THUG (2) comes here in peak condition and drawn to get the gun run. Gave his all with the 59kg from the outside gate when a tough third over 1890m at this track. No surprise to see him get off the mark. CHIEF OF STAFF (3) well bred gelding who looks better placed out to this trip on the roomier Newcastle track. Strong through the line at his second race start when second over 1600m at Wyong. Blinkers added and sure to be thereabouts again.
