BAT OUT OF HELL (4) drifted back early before working home solidly with a big weight first up. Genuine type with a solid second up record and the inside draw is a big tick. Drops in weight today and can play a major role. VOMO ISLAND (3) has been freshened into this after a string of consistent winter results. Disappointed at the end of August, though he is obviously better than that and he maps to get plenty of favours. Expecting him to put his best foot forward. RIP OFF (10) is hard to knock on recent form and was far too good in this grade last time out. Can repeat the dose.
