Very poor maiden to start the day. BRAVE MAX (8) wasn't beaten far over 1250m at Kempsey two back then struggled over 1450m at the same track last time. Nicely in with the claim and this distance is more to his liking. PLATINUM WARRIOR (3) struggled when resuming last start in a much better race than this at Dubbo. Should race handy from the inside draw. Best form is good enough to take this out. DERVINIA (5) struggled over 1400m at Orange nine days ago after a sequence of three decent runs to launch the prep. Can bounce back on her return to a more suitable journey. SHAGGY'S MY MATE (4) and WARM GLOW (7) have hardly set the world alight of late but can sneak into the frame without surprising.
