SHOOTER MCGAVIN (3) is hard to knock having won his past two in convincing style. It was only a BM58 at Yarra Valley last time but he was far too good and and this looks a logical next race to continue the streak. SWEET JASMINE (9) was close up fresh at Warrnambool, finishing fifth but only beaten 0.8 lengths. She ran well in some handy enough affairs in town last time in and looks well placed here. CASH CONVERTER (4) is very consistent, his only miss this campaign coming on heavy ground at Geelong, and even then he was only beaten 3.4 lengths. This is a very similar race to his last start narrow second at Cranbourne and a repeat of that has him in the finish. PRO AUSSIE (5) is coming off a smart maiden win over 1400m at Sale and looks a progressive type with Shinn booked. ARDEN GREEN (6) is racing well, in the mix.
