RUN FREDA RUN (9) has been building her fitness and followed up her fresh up third at Rockhampton with a fourth-place finish there just over 5 weeks ago. She drops back to 1050m from 1300m after a freshen-up and with the advantage of a handy gate, she should go close to taking this out. PAUL EDWARD (8) has changed stables after just battling off a wide gate at Ballina 16 days ago. He has the blinkers back on and maybe a change of scenery will help him. Jackson Murphy who is riding in good form picks up the ride and the pair merit healthy respect. LADY DE VEGA (11) did not finish off her race as expected here last time out and maybe finding 1200m a touch too far. She drops down to 1050m and with some luck from a wide gate, she can bounce straight back into the money. LUCKY STRONG (3) is having his first start since returning from Hong Kong earlier in the year. Sometimes the Hong Kong training setup doesn't suit horses and back to a more open stable, he can show some form. Each way.
