BOOMSHANKA (13) started favourite on debut on 1 February over this distance at Doomben and looked to have every chance but was just denied by Idyllic Affair. Probably has more scope to improve than that filly so she is a great chance to turn the tables. IDYLLIC AFFAIR (11) was ridden closer to the pace last start and responded with a dogged win over Boomshanka six weeks ago. Drawn to enjoy a lovely run again so another win in this deeper field is not out of the question. PRETTY DUBIOUS (3) led all the way to win with a bit in hand last time out over 1110m at Doomben. Should get the extra trip and will give backers a sight. PINK VIXEN (14) was dominant on debut in a much easier race over 1000m at Toowoomba four weeks ago. Nicely drawn and cannot be underestimated. GRAFTERBURNERS (1) was enormous in the Inglis Millenium at Randwick last start. Not sure the Gold Coast is his track but he will be motoring home.
