Handy race. GLOBE (9) is a horse who has had a multitude of issues, resuming from an injury-enforced spell in a strongly run G3 Moonga Stakes at Caulfield when fourth. Globe was once considered a proper Group 1 horse in the making and he looks well placed here to 1600m with 54kg. POISON CHALICE (11) was a dynamic winner fresh in a strong BM84 before working home well in the G2 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley which is strong form for this. Not sure where he gets to from the draw but he rates very highly. UNCLE BRYN (1) was just fair in the Crystal Mile but was a big winner here prior and could bounce back. LIGHT INFANTRY MAN (2) hasn't won in a long time but wasn't bad last time and gets McDonald on. TIZ INVINCIBLE (10) next best.
