The drop in grade suits and she should take beating. THE GENIUS (3) looks suited getting to 2540m now after boxing on at his past couple over slightly shorter trips. He gets Blake Shinn on board here and looks a key chance. STAUNCH (2) ran well in the Ararat Cup over 2200m last time out. This trip is a query but he can roll forward and give some cheek. DUKE OF HASTINGS (4) is coming off a narrow win at Mornington in an easier race but will stay the journey strongly and is good enough on his day.
