BUCKALTIUS (3) has been placed on this track in the past, which is a big advantage. His last couple of starts have been in better company than this, and he should go close to winning here. PERMANENCE (1) won on debut at Stony Creek and was third last time out at Horsham in only his third career start. He is nicely placed to take this out. ZENA BOY (2) is another ex-Victorian gelding who won twice when trained down South. He will eventually want more ground than this, but while fresh, he will be hard to hold out. GREEN PARK (7) is a consistent mare who has finished in the money in both of her starts this prep. She has the pole position third up and will be right in the finish. RUMI STAR (6) is heading the right way and is part of the Mark Currie stable, who seldom travel to this part of Queensland unless they have a chance. Each way.
