MATISSE (9) hit the line nicely first up over 1100m at Flemington, carrying 60kg and working home to be beaten just 2.5 lengths by a smart horse in Scillato. Will likely get even further but does rise 100m here and gets in much better at the weights. SHE'S GOT PIZZAZZ (3) did enough late first-up over 100m behind the speedy Midwest. 1200m suits nicely and she can improve quickly. WINNASEDGE (4) won well last start here in BM84 grade. Coming along well and can measure right up. MADRINA (8) has stuck on well in two runs back from a spell, beating Matisse home at Flemington. Will give a sight again. BAND OF BROTHERS (1) is a possible improver.
