Verdict
PLAYING AROUND (1) dipped at the end of last campaign but he was showing promising signs prior to that, particularly two starts back at Pinjarra. He was very good in a recent trial and CJP sticks from that outing. 1400m first-up is a big tick and he can resume on a winning note. DELICATE WARRIOR (4) never got his chance first-up but improved sharply last start out to 1300m with a 1.3L defeat at Pinjarra, The draw is a little sticky, but the form from his last outing has already been franked. Has plenty of upside and can feature. SWINDLE THE DOUGH (3) has been around the mark of late, finishing just 2.1L off the winner at Bunbury most recently. The winkers replace the blinkers and Steve Parnham hops back in the saddle. Can be in the finish once again. AMAMUS (5) was sound on debut at Pinjarra and can build on that effort. WHO TOLD KAYLA (7) comes through the same race as Amamus and is worth including.
