WEST STAR (3) stamped his authority in the Belgravia before getting injured and heading to the paddock. His one trial coming into this was very good, beating Jokers Grin who won the feature last week. Looks to have stacks of upside and can make a statement first-up. NORICH (1) was racing in strong order and kept up well in the Bluff Knoll at Albany over a trip short of his best. He looks well placed here back to a ratings race and Gaerth's 2kg claim comes in handy. Can roll to the front and give a bold sight. CESSATION (4) is hard to knock on recent form and should be close to the speed from the barrier. She was too good here 21 days ago in this grade and she can continue to rise through the ranks. PETULA (2) disappointed when favourite first-up, but up in trip should suit as well as the better gate. Can improve. BRAVE SPIRIT (5) boasts a good fresh record and can be in the finish.
