SAVORSKI (4) is knocking on the door of a drought breaking win, rattling home to finish 1.8L off the winner most recently. Drawn inside again today so he may be able to sit a touch closer and his recent form is hard to knock. This is easier than his latest run and he can get the job done this time. COVERT ROSE (2) steps up to this trip for the first time, but the way she finished off last time out showed it shouldn't be an issue. Pike sticks with the mare and she can go one better this time around. HOLDOUT (6) bolted in over 1800m last start to shed the maiden tag in impressive fashion. He has enough early speed to roll forward from the draw and now Chris Parnham rides. Can go on with the job despite being up in grade. ROYAL SPLENDOUR (7) is up in grade today but she's been racing well at the midweeks recently. Can feature. GOLD FRIARS (10) was solid in a CL5 at Pinjarra last time out and can be in the finish once again.
