Tricky 2YO race. SPLIT THE GEE (1) was very impressive when winning on debut and now drawing the inside mightn't be ideal with her racing pattern. Hard to ignore what she did first-up though, both visually and with the figure she produced. Can go on with the job. KINGS COURT (2) jumped favourite on debut at this this track and trip before pulling up with an issue to end last campaign. His trial coming in was solid behind a sharp type and Parnham sticks from that outing. Can sit up on the speed and be very hard to run down. GOD'S RAPTURE (12) trialled nicely coming in, sitting back and running over the top to score most recently. She'll need some luck from the wide draw, but she looks to have ability and should be finishing off strongly late in the race. EXCEED THE BOOM (4) was sound on debut behind a smart one and his recent trial was nice at Belmont. Worth including. DESERT LIFE (11) bolted in at the trials recently at Bunbury. Query what she beat there but Pike riding is a big tick.
