PRINCESS PANCAKES (3) capped off a couple of sound efforts for second with a last-start win by half-a-length. She likes to set her own rules in front and if she copes with a 3kg weight rise, she can take them all of the way again. FLYING START (1) won a higher grade in August and his 4 starts since then have all had merit. He hit the line strongly here for second 3 weeks ago and is good enough to have the last say this time. HURN COURT (2) has not missed a cheque in 5 starts on this track since making the move from NSW. He steps up to 1400m and is giving every indication that it won't be an issue. Ray Vigar steps into the irons and the pair merit healthy respect. KANGAROO COURT (6) worked too hard to find the front from a wide gate last time out and understandably faded out in the run home. He has 5.5kg less to carry this time and is far better than his form suggests. Don't risk him.
