CHARMING NIC (6) raced at Sandown-Hillside on debut and raced new. It wasn't a bad effort all the same, and he will have taken fitness and learning. In good hands and the blinkers go straight on. Coffey rides, and this is winnable. LUCKY DIAMOND (7) resumed at Kyneton and overcame a slow start to place. Maps well and has the first-time blinkers applied. He's also in a leading yard and has more to give. Stablemate NIC THE CASH (8) placed distantly at Kyneton and has been briefly freshened. Has an inside barrier and will keep improving. GLASS BAY (12) is hard-fit and went close at Terang. Needs a good ride but he's in the mix as well.
