EXTREME DIVA (6) returns from a twenty-three-week spell and is now with O'Shea/Charlton. Opened last prep with a fast finishing second over 900m at Newcastle. Finds a more suitable trip to launch this prep and a recent trial win suggests she is forward enough. HAPPY BELLIE (7) led for home and looked a chance but she found one better late when resuming from a long break over this distance at Gosford last time out. Fitter for that hit-out and with Nash going on she might prove tough to catch. MIA BALLERINA (8) has been in the money at all three runs this time in work, most recently over 1000m at Kembla when handy all the way. Cherry ripe and from gate one is a definite contender. SIESTA (9) is back after a twenty-week absence. Competitive at all three runs in the maiden prep. Looks ready for this judging by a soft trial win at Warwick Farm on 3 March. IMPERIAL STATE (2) returns from a five-month break as a gelding so he can improve on what we saw last time in work.
