CASHAWAY GOLD (3) couldn't have been more impressive when resuming, controlling the race from the front and racing away to score by 4.5L at Port Macquarie. Fitter and should be tough to beat again. SORRENTO PALACE (7) showed good improvement second-up, just missing by a nose at Dubbo. Should be nearing peak fitness now and gets the chance to take much closer. Big threat. ATOKA (9) broke through for a deserved maiden win at Armidale last start, fighting hard to prevail by a narrow margin. Faces a tougher test but has some upside with confidence. HOLLYWOOD GOLD (2) resumes after a dominant win over this trip at this track back in October. Recent trial was solid and he can play a major role fresh.
