THE PICCOLINO (10) finds the maid win elusive but continues to race well, backing up a strong third two starts ago with a brave second last time out over 900m at Scone. Ready to break through and gets his chance. NICKERS BOY (4) showed plenty of fight last start at Taree in testing conditions, sticking on gamely for third. Not much tougher this time and gets a key booking in Bullock. Should be in the thick of it again. RIVANA (1) has been mixing her form but has shown enough at her best to suggest she can feature prominently, especially if she jumps cleanly this time. SAMITA (9) has been a touch disappointing of late but a return to her peak form would see her right in the mix. Keep her safe.
