Generally a reliable beginner so should take advantage of the inside draw. Will prove very tough to hold out. CASPERNOVA (1) chalked up the hat trick when he easily took care of a BM70 field over this distance at Eagle Farm last time out. Tricky gate with the 60kgs but he is impossible to knock. FUKUBANA (6) is back in trip after chiming in late to finish second in a Lismore NSW Country Championship Qualifier recently. Yet to miss the placings in three goes at 1200m. Sure to be competitive with the help of a perfect barrier. ABOUT TO EXPLODE (4) last raced when he made it two in a row in a 1200m Eagle Farm Class 2 eight weeks ago. Goes well fresh so not to be taken lightly. MISS BAYLES (16) is a model of consistency with a string of good performances at today's journey. Should be about the money again.
