An interesting bumper to conclude. There was plenty to like about the way DOCTOR BLUE travelled for a long way in an Ascot listed bumper in December and he can defy a penalty back in a lower grade. Karonacho made an encouraging start to his career when runner-up at Uttoxeter in November and is second choice ahead of Dan Skelton Worcester winner Tormund Giantsbane. The newcomers also need monitoring in the betting, notably Grand Garcon.

Won his sole point and perfect start under Rules when seeing off 11 rivals in Worcester bumper in October. Stepped up on that form when narrowly denied under a penalty at Warwick 8 weeks later. Should go well again.

Getaway filly. Dam, fairly useful hurdle winner around 2m (stayed 2½m), sister to useful hurdle winner/very smart chaser (stayed 3¼m) Fiddlerontheroof. Stable 5-25 in bumpers this season so this newcomer needs a market check.
