• Once you’ve opted in, you’ll see five community cards (10♠, J♠, Q♠, 6♦ and 4♥) and the two cards you need to beat (9♥ and 9♣).

• This Promotion is open to all Stars Rewards customers. All players need to have registered with the Stars Rewards loyalty program and must have opted into the Promotion.
• Players are limited to a maximum of 20 hands throughout the period that the Promotion is running.
• The type of prize allocated to prize winners will depend on the games that entrants have played to earn their Stars Rewards points. The value of the prize will be determined by a combination of hand strength and the current level of Stars Rewards Chest that customer is on.
• Winning prizes can be comprised of free bets and/or free spins, all carrying Wagering requirements.
• This Promotion takes place from 10:00 ET on May 11, 2020 and finishes at 23:59 ET on May 31, 2020.

The following are the rules (“Rules”) of the Showdown promotion (the "Promotion") taking place on our GUI software client (the “Client”) or any of our participating websites or any downloadable apps for our games.

Any entrant (“Entrant” / “you”/ “your”) who wishes to participate in the Promotion hereby agrees to: (i) these Rules; and (ii) the General Terms and Conditions for Promotions on our site (collectively, the “Terms & Conditions”) and agrees to be unconditionally bound by all of the same so as to participate in this Promotion.

1. Details of Promotion

1.1 This Promotion takes place from 10:00 ET on May 11 until 23:59 ET on May 31, 2020 (“Promotion Period”).

1.2 To begin, you must join the Stars Rewards loyalty program and opt-in to the ‘Showdown Challenge’ by hitting ‘Open’ and then ‘Start’ in your ‘Challenges Window’ in the client or app (where available).

1.3 Once you opt-in, you will be presented with the ‘Showdown’ board, which contains seven cards:

1.  Five cards forming the ‘community cards’: 10, Q and J of spades, 6 of diamonds, and 4 of hearts, and
2.  Two cards you will be competing against: a 9 of hearts, and a 9 of clubs.

1.4 As a member of Stars Rewards, you will have already been allocated reward points based on your real money activity on the site. These rewards points are tracked and are visible in your progress bar. Every time you complete a progress bar, you will receive a Stars Rewards Chest which will contain a reward. Throughout the Promotion Period, for all customers who are participating in the Promotion, these Stars Rewards Chests will also contain two cards, allocated at random (your ‘hole cards’).

Following the receipt of your hole cards, you will be allocated a prize, as set out in in paragraph 2 below. This prize will automatically be credited to your account via a Stars Reward Chest based on the best five-card hand from the five community cards and your two hole cards, provided they’re stronger than the cards they’re competing against (as explained in paragraph 1.3b, this is a pair of 9s).

For example, if the two hole cards you receive are a 10 of hearts and an 8 of clubs, your best five-card hand is a pair of 10s. As pair of 10s is higher than pair of 9s, you’ll get a prize as described in the table below.

If the two hole cards you receive are a 2 of clubs and a 2 of hearts, your best five-card hand is a pair of 2s. As this is lower than pair of 9s, you will not receive a prize.

1.5 The hand-strength probability is as follows:

2. Prizes

2.1 The type of prize won will be personalised to the games you like to play. For example, if your Stars Rewards points have been accumulated playing slots, you will receive your prize in ‘free spins’. If your Stars Rewards points have been accumulated via ‘Spin & Go’s’, your prize will be in the form of ‘Spin & Go’ tickets. The value of the prize you can get will depend on the hand strength and the colour of the Stars Rewards Chest you are ascribed based on your level of play at the time won. Its value will vary as follows:

2.2 For example if you are at ’Silver Chest’ level and hold a 3 of a kind, you will receive a prize to the value of $5.

2.3 Wagering requirements:

1. For any prize which is awarded in the form of a Free Bet, the following wagering requirements apply to the use of that Free Bet:
• Free Bet can be used on any PokerStars Sports market.
• Free Bet(s) can be used on Straight Bets and Parlays only.
• Free Bet(s) can’t be used on Spin & Bet and round robin bets.
• You can view the Free Bet(s) under the ‘Free Bets’ section located next to the Bet Slip.
• Unused Free Bets expire seven days after being credited.
2. For any prize which is awarded in the form of an Instant Bonuses, the following wagering requirements apply to the use of that Instant Bonus:
• Casino Instant Bonuses can be used to play any Casino games.
• To convert a bonus, and any winnings, into cash that can be withdrawn, you need to earn 1.5 redemption points per dollar bonus within 30 days.
• The rate at which redemption points are earned varies based on which games you choose to play, meaning that the total volume of Casino wagering required to clear your bonus may increase or decrease. Click here for a full outline of how redemption points are awarded per game type. You cannot surrender the bonus for any value over $0 without meeting the full wagering requirement.
• You can only use one Casino Instant Bonus at any one time in an eligible game. If you have multiple Casino Instant Bonuses available for use in a particular game, each bonus will be added to the available balance as soon as you have cleared the bonus by earning the set number of redemption points, you have surrendered or paused the bonus, or you have used all bonus funds. You can manage the order in which multiple bonuses become available for use via the ‘My Stars’ menu.
• When placing a wager, funds will be taken from any available Casino Instant Bonus balance first and from your real money balance thereafter.

3. Miscellaneous

3.1 You can play a maximum of 20 hands throughout the Promotion Period. Once you have played these 20 hands, the challenge in the Challenges Window will appear as complete and you will no longer receive two ‘hole cards’ if you receive a Stars Rewards Chest during the remainder of the Promotion Period.

3.2 A prize won as part of this Promotion cannot be assigned or transferred, and any Stars Rewards Chests will be forfeited if not opened within seven days after the end of the Promotion Period.

3.3 Once the Chests are opened, all prizes that form part of this Promotion will be added to the players account immediately and will be available for the player to use, subject to the wagering requirements set out in paragraph 2.3.
