Terms & Conditions
The following are the rules (“Rules”) of the ‘Trick or Treat’ promotion (the "Promotion"), as organized by the operator ("PokerStars"/ “we”/ “our”/ “us”) of the Internet site found at PokerStars and its affiliated sites (the "Site") together with the PokerStars GUI software (the "Client").
Any entrant (“Entrant” / “you”/ “your”) who wishes to participate in the Promotion hereby agrees to: (i) these Rules; and (ii) the general terms and conditions for promotions on our site (collectively, the “Terms & Conditions”) and agrees to be unconditionally bound by all of the same so as to participate in this Promotion.
- Details of Promotion
1.1 This Promotion takes place from 10:00 ET on October 17 until 23:59 ET on October 31, 2018 (“Promotion Period”).
1.2 To take part in this Promotion, you must complete the Halloween Hunt grid puzzle (“Puzzle”) using the puzzle pieces (“Puzzle Pieces”) that you can collect throughout the Promotion Period.
1.3 To begin, you must opt-in to the ‘Halloween Hunt’ Challenge by hitting ‘Open’ and then ‘Start’ in your Challenges Window in the Client, website or the app (where available).
1.4 Provided you have opted into the Stars Rewards program, you will have a progress bar which measures the reward points that you earn on your real money activity. Every time you complete the progress bar, you will receive a Stars Rewards Chest which will contain a reward (“Reward”) as part of the loyalty scheme. For the duration of the Promotion Period, we will also randomly give away Puzzle Pieces together with Rewards. Any puzzle piece collected prior to opting in will not count towards your progress.
1.5 The Puzzle is broken down into five different rows, represented by: ‘Pumpkin’, ‘Ghosts’, ‘Zombies’, ‘Witches’ and ‘Vampire’. Should you collect all required Puzzle Pieces in a row, you will receive a Locked Chest with hidden rewards. This is in addition to any Rewards you may have been entitled to when you received a Stars Rewards Chest for completing a progress bar.
1.6 The probability of collecting each of the required Puzzle Pieces is as follows:Pumpkins 200,000 per 1,000,000 Ghosts 179,995 per 1,000,000 Zombies 100,000 per 1,000,000 Witches 20,000 per 1,000,000 Vampire 5 per 1,000,000
1.7 Some rewards contained in the Locked Chests may have playthrough requirements. Click for full Stars Rewards Terms & Conditions.
1.8 Please note, Locked Chests can only be opened between 00:00 ET on November 1, 2018 until 23:59 ET on November 7, 2018. Any Locked Chests which are unopened after this date will automatically expire and be forfeited.
1.9 There is no limit to how many Puzzle Pieces you may collect. However, only the first ones that complete each row will be awarded a Locked Chest. Locked Chests may contain a variety of rewards that we provide in line with the products we offer.
1.10 The value of Locked Chests is tied to the level of Stars Rewards Chests.
1.11 You can only win a Locked Chest and/or a Stars Rewards Chest, if you are opted into the Stars Rewards loyalty program. - Prizes
2.1 You will be awarded a random prize in accordance with the prize table below (“Prize Table”) after completing the first, second, third, fourth and fifth rows of the Puzzle. For example, collect two Ghosts to complete row two and be awarded a random Prize. Note that the Prizes on offer differ depending on the type of Stars Rewards Chest that is available to you.
2.2 Subject to Clauses 2.3 and 2.4 below, the average value of the random Prize you can win pursuant to Clause 2.1 above will depend on the Stars Rewards Chest you are ascribed based on your level of play at the start of the Promotion, and its value will vary as follows:

2.3 You will be awarded a fixed cash prize (“Cash Prize”) of $25,000 when you collect one Vampire Puzzle Piece.
2.4 Excluding the Vampire puzzle piece, you will NOT be entitled to receive a cash amount for any of other Puzzle Pieces you collect as set out in Clause 2.2 above. For the avoidance of doubt, the values ascribed to the other Puzzle Pieces in Clause 2.2. above denote the estimated value of the hidden reward for that Locked Chest. - Miscellaneous
3.1 You will not be eligible to participate in this Promotion nor entitled to receive any prizes set out hereunder (to the extent applicable) if you are subject to any self-exclusion restrictions in relation to any of our Sites.
3.2 All prizes that form part of this Promotion cannot be assigned or transferred and Locked Chests will be forfeited if not opened within seven (7) days of issue.
3.3 We reserve the right to amend the terms of this Promotion as may be notified to you on our Site and/or terminate this Promotion at any time.
3.4 Only one entry per person permitted.
3.5 You must not permit or allow another person to take part in the Promotion on your behalf.
3.6 You must have a Stars Account if you want to take part in this Promotion and you must be the registered owner of the Stars Account.
3.7 Only invited players are eligible to participate in this Promotion.
3.8 By entering this Promotion, you hereby confirm and agree that you wish to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.
