What is the RSA Security Token?

The RSA Security Token is a small device used to add an extra layer of protection to your account.

It upgrades your login security to two-factor authentication when logging in.

Two-factor authentication requires both:

• something you know: a password and PIN.
• something you have: the RSA Security Token.

The token displays a code that changes every 60 seconds.

How does the RSA Security Token protect my account?

When the RSA Security Token is enabled, you must enter three pieces of information to log in:

• your password
• your RSA Security PIN
• the code displayed on the token

Because the token code changes every 60 seconds, it adds an additional security layer to your account.

The RSA Security Token helps protect your account from:

• keyloggers
• unauthorized access

Can I still order an RSA Security Token?

No, it's no longer possible to order RSA Security Tokens.

How do I activate my RSA Security Token?

To activate the RSA Security token and create an RSA Security PIN, log in to your account. Go to the RSA Security token section:

How do I create an RSA Security PIN?

Follow the on-screen instructions, and complete the following steps:

1. Enter the token's 9-digit serial number. This number is printed on the sticker on the back of the token and engraved on the device.
2. Press 'Next'.
3. Read the explanation of the passcode.
4. Press 'Next'.
5. Create a four-digit PIN. This becomes the first half of your passcode.
6. Press 'Next'.
7. Enter your full passcode.

The passcode consists of:

RSA security PIN (4 digits) + token code (6 digits) = RSA security passcode (10 digits)

• Select 'Next' to complete the activation.

After activation, you must enable the token for login.

How do I enable my RSA Security Token for login?

Log in to your account and go to the RSA Security Token section:

5. Tick the checkbox next to 'Enable RSA Security Token'.

Enter the information requested in the dialog box. This prevents anyone from changing your login settings without your permission.

Wait for confirmation that your new login settings are active. A message confirming the change will be sent to you.

How do I change my RSA Security PIN?

To change your RSA Security PIN, log in to your account and go to the RSA Security Token section:

Enter the full RSA passcode using your new PIN and wait for confirmation that the change has been accepted.

How do I disable my RSA Security Token?

To disable your RSA Security Token, log in to your account and go to the RSA Security Token section:
