Depositing with Rapid Transfer

Rapid Transfer (formerly known as 'Skrill Direct') is an online bank transfer that allows you to deposit directly from your bank account to your user account.

In most countries, you must have a Skrill account to use this option. If you don't have a Skrill account, you'll need to create one to complete the transaction.

How do I deposit with Rapid Transfer?

To deposit with Rapid Transfer, follow these steps:

  1. Go to the Cashier. If you're on our website or using our mobile app:

  2. Under the 'Deposit' tab, select 'More Payment Methods' to see all available options.
  3. Select 'Rapid Transfer'.
  4. Select your preferred currency (if applicable).
  5. Select one of the suggested deposit amounts or enter a different one in the 'Other' field.
  6. Enter your deposit bonus code (if available).
  7. Select the green arrow.
  8. On the Rapid Transfer screen, log on to your existing Skrill account.
  9. Select your bank from the list and enter your account details to proceed with the authentication process. Depending on your bank, you may need to go through an additional verification process over the phone.
  10. Log on to your online banking service and hit 'OK'.
  11. Confirm your deposit amount on the next screen.
  12. Select 'Continue' to ensure that the funds are credited to your account.

Once the transaction is verified, we'll credit the funds to your user account.

We don't charge any fees for depositing with this method. However, your bank may.

I'm trying to use Rapid Transfer, but I can't. Why?

Here are some of the most common reasons for a failed Rapid Transfer deposit:

    • The transaction wasn't completed on time. Wait 15 minutes and try to deposit again.
    • Your web browser version is not up to date. Please ensure you're using the most up-to-date version of your web browser.
    • Internet Explorer is not your default web browser. Make sure Internet Explorer is your default browser.
    • Your anti-virus or pop-up blocker may be stopping new windows from coming up as pop-ups. You can temporarily disable the pop-up blocker feature.
    • The information entered was incorrect. Please double-check that the information you are entering is correct and try again.
