Mobile Deposits: Boku [UK]

Boku is a popular payment method in the UK. It allows you to credit your user account using your mobile phone balance.

How can I deposit with Boku? 

  1. Log in to your user account and go to the Cashier.
  2. Under the 'Deposit' tab, select ‘Pay by Mobile’ as your payment option.
  3. Choose Boku method. If you never deposited with Boku before, you'll not see this option in the Cashier.
  4. Select one of the suggested deposit amounts, enter your deposit bonus code (optional), and select the green arrow.
  5. A message will Pop-up on your screen informing you that you’ll be redirected to Boku 's website to complete the deposit. Select 'Continue' if you want to proceed.
  6. Once on Boku’s website you need to enter your mobile number and select the 'Buy Now' button to acknowledge and agree with Boku 's Privacy Policy.
  7. You will then receive an SMS message on the mobile number you entered.
  8. Go to the SMS message and reply with the letter 'Y' to confirm and accept the charge. 
  9. Once the confirmation it’s done, Boku will verify the payment request with your network operator:
    • If successful, you’ll get a message confirming the successful payment and the charge will be added to your next mobile bill or deducted from your prepaid balance.  Close the browser window or select 'Continue'.
    • If rejected, you will receive an on-screen error message. Select ‘Retry Payment’ to go back to the Cashier and try again or select ‘Cancel Purchase’.

Once your deposit is processing, you'll receive an email notification confirming your request.

I can’t find Boku as deposit option on the cashier?

Boku is only available to players that used it in the past. If you never deposited with Boku before, you'll not see this option in the Cashier.

Do I need to pay any fee?

We don’t charge any fees, however additional charges from your mobil operator may apply.

Can I Withdrawal with Boku?

Withdrawals through Boku aren’t available.

My transaction was declined. What can I do?

  • If your transaction was declined, here are some possible reasons:
  • Your mobile phone is switched off.
  • Your service is not active. Make sure that you have activated the mobile payment service with your mobile phone network.
  • If you are using a prepaid mobile, make sure that you have sufficient funds in your mobile account for the transaction.

My account is blocked. What can I do?

If you got blocked, wait 10 minutes and log in again.

Always remember to log out before closing your mobile app to ensure you don't get blocked by the system:

  • IOS: Tap on the 'More' button from the bottom of any screen, then select 'Logout'.
  • Android: Tap on the three-line navigation menu icon in the top left corner, then 'Logout'.
  • PokerStars Next Generation app: Account icon → Logout.
